A phase-local byte is not a global token ID

The current source has 32 phase banks: 31 banks of 255 entries and a final bank of 31. A dense identifier for 7,936 tokens requires at least 13 bits. The phase and local byte identify a different thing from a global token ID.

The original 256-glyph byte bijection and the 7,936-token vocabulary are separate registries.

Profile conflicts remain visible

The compared current profiles share the token spellings and numeric byte values, but 510 phase fields and five Julia wording fields differ. This page uses the normalised re profile and shows the alternate values on affected records.
